Who else thinks Sega should make a 2-D sonic game with 3-D backgrounds in a sort of cell shaded style, like Megaman Network Transmission on the Gamecube. This way the camera would be better and the graphics would look brilliant. It would also help to recreate the old sonic atmosphere that everyone loves.

It couldn't help but be better than the Sonic Adventure series.
I like Sonic Adventure, but it's sort of Ratchet & Clank level fun. Which isn't loads.
Cel shaded 2-D Viewtiful Joe sort of thing would be sweet, probably.

I like this idea, I haven't enjoyed any of Sonic's 3D outings. But I loved the 2D stuff so that could work well.
