Tell me what you would prefer, a definately good cheap game or a game your friends want to get, but it was dear and risky cos it was new and you didn't know anything about it?

I used to buy expensive games, but when my money ran dry, I traded in one of my expensive games and got £30 off another. After a while I found that cheap second hand games are the best. Now that games are cheaper though, it doesn't really matter.

I'd never buy any game i didn't know anything about.

I always at least read a review from a trusted magazine, if possible i try to play a demo as well simpley because however good and accurate the review is, only i know what i'm prepared to spend £30+ on.

If a game is good, and it's only a tenner, i'm not going to say to myself "I'm not buying that because it's cheap so it must be crap."

But on the otherhand, however cheap a game is, if its rubbish i won't wate my money.
