Obviously not you guys, I mean the ones at Black and White.

The official patch has been delayed repeatedly for 4 months now, and I like to occasionally pop on and post the odd topic to...keep people warm and friendly.
Like tonight, I posted this (the front page has announcements by Lionhead as to the state of progress):

"Lionhead regret to announce that the official patch will be delayed another few days.
It's like...EA's fault or something.
Look, this game is really, really hard to programme, you don't understand.
It took us 3 years to make, so bear with us some more.
Yes, we know it's been 4 months since the release and when we held up that sign saying "Done", but...it's...er...hard to programme.
What? Yes, we are professional programmers but we didn't expect the complexity of this game.

A patch isn't just fixing bugs you know, it's doing other stuff like...er....did you know your creature can dance to MP3?
Ea...it's all their fault.
Not ourse, so go blame them.

Please, Peter's a really, really nice bloke you know.
We've all worked really hard on this, which is why we initially said the patch couldnt be signed off because key personnel were at E3.
And then the Netherlands modem thing.
And then some other stuff.

Did we mention you can have your creature dance?
Hmm? A lot of you can't even play in the 1st place, but it's hard to programme.

Anyways, must dash, Peter's promised us all a ride in his Ferarri.
Patch soon.
Honest.
EA are ba***rds"

And someone replies warning everyone that I'm not an employee of Lionhead.
Hello? Isn't that obvious?
So I follow up with:

"Lionhead regret to announce a delay in the official patch.
This is because:
The dog ate it.
We left it round our mate's house.
I left it on the bus
It got wet and is drying out in the airing cupboard.
We kicked it over EA's fence and they won't give it back, b******s.
If we release the patch, the shallow gameplay will come to light.
The cat was sick on it.

Delete as applicable.
Thank you
Lionhead

If they ever release the official patch (beta version is available but with no support), then Lionhead will release a feature that allows you to play music CDs in-game and your creature will dance.

It will learn what songs are good and bad, you can play it Boyzone and when it dances, punch the crap out of it.
Stick in Clutch and reward it for dancing, so later on, when you put Boyzone in, the creature will vomit and get angry (apparently).

Which will rock.

Sincere apologies for the use of a profanity in that, I copied it across from my board posting over there and pasted into here, I thought I caught all of them.

Obviously not.
Feel free to delete this post.

Damn, sorry guys, usually I'm on top of monitoring my posts.
