yes its time to take the decs down. have you got any wrapping paper left? if so take out the inner tube thing and wrap your xmas lights round it.....this will make life so much easier next year when it comes to putting up the tree - no tangled lights......now here's the good part, while the lights are wrapped around the inner tube thing, plug them in and switch on......hey presto an attractive lamplight feature thing!
We were lucky and had no probs with ours, the ones at work didn't work but we noticed that one of the bulbs was black after blowing and as soon as we changed that one they were fine.

Bah! Just get some LED ones next year. I can't believe they're still selling lights that all go out if one blows, it's so easy to have them coming off of the main wire rather than in sequence.
