Am I correct in thinking your can't 'opt-out' from WHOIS with .info domains like you can with co.uk TLD's?

I've checked on info.info and Afilias and it doesn't appear as if you can - but thought I would check.

Although I believe I am still right for the moment, as we can't offer the service at present.

Is it advisable to pay for it however? I never get the point of opting out anyway, other than the obvious. (Personal opinion obviously)

Sorry Warhunt, my fault for not telling you but you can optout of the WHOIS for .info domains. This a known as domain privacy and is independant of the actual registries. The service is chargeable on gTLDs and will be available soon. Optout for Nominet (.uk) and CentralNic (.uk.com, .uk.net etc) is free.

Unfortunately you are correct. There is no option to opt out on .info's.
