Came into the office this morning to find loads of pieces of paper stuck to every door regarding a police notice that carjackers have a new system of pinning a piece of paper to the back of cars and waiting till the driver gets out once they've seen it before stealing their car.
Apart from the instantly obvious fact that this in itself is impractacle, it's amazing that people still post these things without checking them out first.
Anyway, just sent out a reply to the whole office;
"Hi,
It's interesting to think that some people might believe that carjackers are willing to spend a couple of hours waiting around for the off chance that someone will get out of their car to remove a piece of paper, then risk being seen or having the driver instantly phone the police. Perhaps they've given up on the old fashioned system of just waiting until there is no-one around and simply breaking in to the cars?
Alternately, see the news about hypodermic needles in children's ball pits of the dangers of re-using plastic drinking bottles or killer clowns living in the sewers.

Unfortunately this means they won't get to see my lovely email in reply. Maybe I should print one out and stick it up for them tomorrow....?

Although I suppose they have the keys, the door is open...............
All they need to do is give you a mighty whack and off they go.
