I'm writing this topic to complain about how this country is treated in the way of games. I've been going mad trying to figure out what exactly Capcom are supposed to be doing with Resident Evil Code Veronica X, This is supposed to include the Wesker's report DVD as standard in the package but there's so much gibberish going round that i don't know what's gong on.
EB can't say because the title is preorder only but the web site seems to have the game at £45 with the DMC demo and wesker's report but amazon have a £35 deal with just the DMC demo. I've asked SR but they haven't responded to my post in the customer services.
The official word from Capcom europe is that UK customers will have a chance to get to get the wesker's report or the demo but it's really up to the retailer, Does this mean EB are having a beauty of a package having all 3 items, BLISS but the fact is that no one knows anthing until capcom ship the game here then we'll see what happens.I preordered his ages ago and should have top priority of which to include (if availible).
Back to the point of the topic, i'm so sick of the way his country gets treated for games, We get the exact same American version only region coded in pal but SO many games don't make it overhere because we classed as europe which means for developers, the games need translating in tons of languages and they just can't be bothered with it.If you check out the american game web pages such as amazon.com and eb.com you'll see how EASY it is to get hold or rare tites and how much larger their selection of games is.
on capcom (US) homepage you can order CVX directly from them and you'll recieve the game,dmc demo and for FREE the Wesker's Report DVD. There's so many NTSC games that i would just love to play but just aren't avilible in this country, Is it SO HARD to convert a game from NTSC to PAL, If it wasn't for the pal PS1 games i have and region 2 DVD's I would have bought an imported console. I've been looking for years the mega man PS1 games which appeared years ago but are no where in sight now!
In America you can order these easily and not to mention Parasite Eve, as if you do just release he sequel here.
I am PREYING for a region x type hardware that will allow you to play imported PS1 and PS2 games because this is just too much now.

We've had this topic before... but what it all boils down to is that publishers are lazy and take the britich and european market for granted.
We get slower, lesser quality games that come out after the rest of the world and cost more. We miss offers like "club Nintendo" and extra goodies with games. We also miss many great game releases...
The answer: Import. It's the only way without actually getting the industry to do something! Try going back through the FOG Prime topics for a few dozen pages and reading the "REAL FACTS BEGIND IMPORTING" topic... it's the whole topic wrapped up
