Right, so after a few months of deliberation, I decided to find out if my Xbox has been lying to me about the number of blocks it holds. I went through my Hard Drive last night to see If I really had used more than 50000 Blocks of Memory. Turns out that I've used around 70000 Blocks so far :O
So this morning, I searched google in order to find out how many the blocks it actually has, and I came across this: [URL]http://www.devhood.com/messages/message_view-2.aspx?thread_id=69959[/URL]
Apparently, we have near to 500,000 Blocks on our hard drive. Just wish my 'Box would tell me that rather than making me think I needed to delete some save games soon.

I know, but it doesn't say how many blocks there actually are.
It only states 50,000+ on the Xbox. It doesn't say 50,000 is your limit.
Very simple... you can have over 50,000 blocks free because you have over 500,000 to begin with. There is something like 512 blocks on and 8 MB memory card and the 8 GB hard drive is 1,000 times bigger, so that makes sense.

No Stridman, you have over 50,000 available.
When I check my Hard Drive memory it says I have 50000 blocks remaining but that cant be right because I started off with 50000 blocks and I've saved lots of games since.
