Hello everyone. Just a quick question asking what the connectors underneath both the SNES and N64 are for. Thanks.

They were for future add on's
The N64 one was for the 64DD and the SNES one was for the unreleased Famicom CD rom hard drive, which Square worked closely on and this is why they fell out.
