No, the only official players are those that you can play as in the game, the 17 odd, the rest are made up.

I've got it and it's better then the previous game but still has it's faults. The career mode is greatly improved though with 249 other players to play against instead of the 7 you had before, however it still suffers from the fact there's matches where you only have 2 games in it (reaches 6 games in some finals). I've looked around in the options menu and can't find an option to change it, only for the arcade mode. I'd have liked to have been able to have proper 6 game sets instead of just a small 1 minute game.
I want it, but I haven't got it.
