No-one can dispute that Nintendo has always delivered the goods, however long we have to wait between each one. But the concerning issue of Nintendo, is their attitude to the customers here in Europe.
Nintendo games have always been known to take a while to reach these shores, but compare the difference to Sony and Sega and you will find that the European market has a greater time to wait for Nintendo games to become available.
Nintendo has been known to abandon games from being released in Europe, reasons why are unknown. Gmaes like the SNES hit, Super Mario RPG, was never released here and made many of Nintendo's loyal European customers feel like Nintendo did not want to give them the best.
Also, Nintendo, as with the GameCube, are known for confirming release dates of its consoles for America and Japan but have always helped spark rumours that its hardware would not be available in Europe. This was the case with the Nintendo D-Drive.
So it is concerning that Nintendo seems to not be treating the European Market, one of the biggest gaming markets, the same as American and Japan. Maybe this is why people are turning their intentions away from Nintendo's proven qualities to Sony and Sega.

Nintendo and Microsoft should get their acts together, with both companies soon to fight it out in November.... The Xbox should do will in the States but not as good in Japan, with the GameCube selling better in Japan than the States....which means the success of each console may actually depend on the European market.

Admittedly if I was Nintendo I may forego an early UK launch in order to increase GameBoyAdvance sales at Christmas...However Microsoft have no excuse.

I definitely agree with what you say but It's not just Nintendo who are shafting the European market its also Microsoft and the Sony. Microsoft will be releasing the x-box in Japan and the US before the end of this year, however we have to wait another 4-5 months for it to be released over here. The PS2 was the same, we had to wait a long time after Japanese launch to get hold of it.

Nintendo are using the same strategy as they have done for all its past consoles and it sucks. They need to change their attitude if they want the Europeans to take them seriously. I don't see why England has to wait more than countries like Australia for some of the games like Excitebike. All Nintendo had to do was to ship a few of the AUS units to the UK but they had to do it the long way by considering the rest of Europe.

Its just one of those thigs we have to live with, because we are not as important compared to the Americans.
