20 Million for Harrison ford for doing film, do u think he is worth it?

Also Sean Connery, has expressed an interest in playing Indiana's father again!

Harrison Ford will be 59 next month, i don't think he will be able to manage an all action role, even with a stunt man in place.

Although 20 Million for the film sounds a lot of money (which in many eyes is) is chicken feed compared to some other actors.

Here is the run down of the Hollywood top Earners:

10. Nicholas Cage - £11 Million per movie
9. Jennifer Lopez - £12 Million per movie
8. John Travolta - £12 Million per movie
7. Brad Pitt - £13 Million per movie
6. Bruce Willis - £15 Million per movie
5. Mel Gibson - £16 Million per movie
4. Harrison Ford - £17.8 Million per movie (at the moment)
3. Julia Roberts - £19.5 Million per movie
2. Tom Hanks - £45 Million per movie (mainly profits)
1. Tom Cruise - £50 Million per movie (all profits)

The film Ring which is the most successful horror film ever in Japan was made on a budget of $1.5 million. Ring has very high production values, excellent acting and a great script. It is well directed and well edited. If Japanese film makers can create something like this for so little ($1.5 million is actually the average budget for Japanese movies) then why can't others?

American studios spend money as if it's no object. Film makers stop using their brains and just open their wallets to solve problems. The way that stars are treated is disgusting -I wish film makers would work on making good films rather than star vehicles.

As for the fourth Indiana Jones movie, I hope it doesn't happen. The last three were brainless but good fun -the fourth would just be a cash-in.

If the government want the British film industry to succeed then they should help to fund low budget, innovative films that push the boundaries and offer something new. Instead they are only interested in funding trashy American rip-offs (like The Hole) or Guy Ritchie type Gangster films starring ex-soap stars.

No one is worth that ammount!! - Im not sure if Harrison Ford would be cut out for the role as Indiana again - They should perhaps find a younger version and make a prequel to the original trilogy!!

If hollywood stop paying actors so much they may be able to afford to employ some deacent writers or diretors and eventualy thhey may make a good film.
