Swearing and over the top violence don't make a game, but by god, it's far more entertaining than the crap that is "ManHunt"
Right. Off on the booze.
"Who the f**k does he think he is?! We're the US army!"
"Oh that's right f**ker, run baby run".
Just a couple of examples of the games approach to middle eastern characters ;)
Manhunt though took the biscuit, despite being an excellent stealth game it really did set out to offend people, without sounding retarded it made the game feel more at home. It's worse when games avoid what they set out to achieve, for instance in Call of Duty you rarely hear anyone swearing and what not however in the situation you are controlling I would bet my bottom dollar that there were more than a few "GET DOWN!!!" statements thrown around.
The games suffer in America though, the 3 I mentioned at the top got big fat 'M' for Mature ratings on them and in the explained example sales have really suffered for Full Spectrum Warrior, in fact there weren't any online games running at all yesterday, it appears worse than the 3000 or so that play Tench on LIVE.
I miss that game, it worked on so many levels.
