Many expect the announcement of Richard Wright signing for Arsenal. However rumours are it could be one of the following deals :

Michael Carrick from West Ham

OR

Josep Guardiloa from Barcelona

OR wait for it........

Ronaldo from InterMilan (£8.5m + Wiltord)

That is a big blow to Ipswich. Teamtalk is the best site.

There are already so a big number of football sites to choose from. The best, in my opinion, is Teamtalk.com.

Arsenal sign Richard Wright.

Exclusive: Feyenoord are threatening legal action against Arsenal over the collapse of the £8.5million move of Poland goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to Highbury. With Arsenal hoping to unveil £5m signing Richard Wright in the next 48 hours, the Dutch club were preparing to fly to London for urgent talks with Highbury vice-chairman David Dein. Arsenal had been hoping discussions would surround a £6m bid for Australia defender Brett Emerton

Taken from www.soccernet.com, full story on the site!! Oh, and when are SR likely to set up a football site, with results and the like?? Ukfootball.com or something, I'm sure no10 could handle that!

Richard Wright is (apparently) still on holiday. Arsenal are unlikely to hold a press conference to announce his signing without him being present. I predict Wright will sign next week, and he will be a huge player for Arsenal.

Today, however, I think something else is cooking and it could be a shocker. Just 15 minutes until all will be revealed.

I think it is disgraceful what actions Campbell has had to take to protect himself.

He has had to spend £100,000 on security for his house, his phone number was given out on Spurs message boards and Arsenal have even proposed giving him a minder.

I think it could be Wright, but then it was supposed to be Wright on Wednesday as well so who knows??

As for the death threat thing with Sol Campbell, whoever did that seriously needs to get a real life rather than a pretend football one. I’m as passionate about football as the next fan, but that’s just so stupid it defies belief.

He’ll take his stick at the North London derby, they’ll call him Judas etc. That’s expected, any set of supporters would do the same.

I'm 99% sure that it will be Richard Wright. It will certainly be a good signing for Arsenal with Seaman slowly losing his ability and Manninger not living up to expectation.

On a different note, I've heard it many times before when players change to rival clubs, but it defies belief when I hear that Sol Campbell should be expecting death threats from disgruntled Spurs fans. Football is only a game.
