It appears the "losing accounts when you sign out" syndrome only affects some people so I tried something. I logged on to a hotmail address and it worked. So:
my new E-mail is [email protected] so anyone who wants to add me or had my old address use this one.

What does it come up with........when you try to sign into your old account.
