Another weird Argos-esque random price-drop.
And apprently they're only selling GC stuff 'at certain times of the yeat' from now on.
Eh?
I thought (and I'm sure Dringo can fill me with creamy stats here) that GC just got a massive sales boost from the Pokemon packs.
So why this?
Also, I've recently noticed:
The Tesco I work at has stopped selling GC stuff. There's nothing there at all.
My local GAME have shunned GC stuff even further. You can't actually see it from anywhere in the shop, except about 1 foot away.
The shelf space the games take up are along the little corridor going into the storeroom - you have to clamber over carboard boxes to look at them.
The word 'GameCube' just about fits along the top of the shelf.
Ouch.
More random, probably old news:
Shiz loads of new DS titles confirmed / rumoured:
*Super Monkey Ball (with the touchscreen - look at the pacman trackball used = sweet)
*Baten Kaitos
*Castlevania
'*something' from the Ninja Gaiden guy
*Chu-Chu Rocket and another mystery game from Sega
*Something from a FFXII-related guy, saying he will after he thinks of some decent touch-screen uses
*Silent Hill
*Contra
Tales has been given a US release of July 13th. (old, but good news)
In Japan on July 15th, details of the new Pokemon game will be released.
*end*
Gamecube got a small boost from the sales of the Pokemon stadium sequel but nothing too major, the title performed well and aided Nintendo in the software department. Nintendo reported an 80% rise but that's in all of Europe, us UK ba**tards wouldn't by a Nintendo machine if it was free (don't point out who'd buy a free console).
Typical.
