So Driver 3 is getting universally bad reviews?
Guess I'll rent it and wait for something else, shame.

NFSU is an excellent game in my opinion, better than PGR2 (For the PC anyway. Haven't played the console version).

And as for Driv3r. I'm deffinately willing to give it a try. The problem is, is that there isn't a shop in my town that have a returns policy for games.

Likewise, as far as I'm concerned, people that aren't willing to give it a go are losing out on a very decent game. I don't think the negative comments are very fair as the game is good, and has obviously had a lot of effort put into it. It's a shame when a decent game like Driver gets criticised when crap like NFSU sells by the lorry load.

And some of you said that some magazines gave it a good score in return for an early review, well maybe the sites that are giving it bad reviews are doing so because they didn't get their big exclusive. Meh, I'm not going to say any more on the matter, because I think the game's brilliant, and to me that's all that really matters.

Seriously? I've been spending hours crashing the cars into stuff, and it takes a heck of a lot for you to die. I even drove off a cliff in Nice and I was okay.

Official Magazines lie.

Deal with it.

XBOX World splashed a huge picture of Tanner on the front of the cover they reviewed it on. They're not gonna do that and then say it's cack.

I'm going to be getting it because I want to make in game short films which include people being shot/shot at in slow-mo.

I tend to trust Gamecentral and people with brains over people who got a game that was early review code, and got it 'specially'.....

There's some interesting controversy on Driver 3 going on, mainly to do with the fact that a few mags (namely PSM2 and Xbox World) awarded the game around 9/10 in exchange for early review code. Check out the gamesradar.com and Eurogamer.net forums, it's all good and there's actually responses from the people who wrote the reviews.

I played it in our shop for about 3 minutes, and died because I hit a lamppost at about 4mph. Draw your own conclusions.
