i live in englaand and want 2 buy final fantasy x1 ntsc version (import)my machine does play ntsc! so will it work online and is the hdd compatiable any advice would be appreciated

Not yet, but you can use a USA version on the PC and enter a yank address to bypass regional restrictions.

Quite a few people in the UK are now playing it. I wish I could join in, but I'm going to wait for the UK PS2 version just for the convenience of it.

Buy the PC version - it's less hassle and you won't need to modify anything, therefore invalidating any warranties.

And the graphics etc. will be better too.
