Which connection speed is most friendly for Live? Also what speed is your broadband and how does Live cope with it?

I have the standard half meg as well - but it is as good as a one meg.

Reason for that is (with the exception of Bulldog and a select few exchanges) all ADSL has the same upload speed. So whilst I might be able to download twice as fast, my upload speed remains 256Kbps. That extra bandwidth doesn't actually do anything then.

In saying that, there is no harm in having a faster connection, indeed I want better myself. But the bottleneck is the upload speed and that's the main point. Considering the amount of people using cable, 128Kbps upload is perfectly OK.

I'm on a half meg connection (standard broadband) - Live works fine in most games with 8 or so players but because I'm on a shared connection with my bro, I don't often host.

I'd love a 2 Meg connection - but can't see that happening for a while.
