...and what a crappy ending. I wasn't exactly expecting them to send me a trophy through the post, but a 30 second cut-scene? C'mon, it was such an excellent game too. And after agonising like a Krypton Factor contestant on the very last bit with Soth and the last ND133, I just decided to shoot everyone and run. Did it in under a minute. Booyah me.

Whistle and punch, that's all you need to do for 90% of the game.

It is an exceedingly easy game. Most of the parts guide you through pretty comprehensively, so it's not that taxing. Confusion? Where? It's one of the most linear "multiple route" games in the world

Hardly an amazing achievement, possibly the easiest game I have ever played. Got through it without getting shot (loading last checkpoint for the few times I was caught) and this was supposedly the Hard mode. It is something the series really needs a great deal of attention devoting to it.

They have completely mastered the online side of things but the single player, in terms of linearity, difficulty and variation it seriously needs a hell of a lot of work doing to it as both so far have seriously disappointed from a single player point of view.

Thief 3 on the other hand... Muchly excellent on Expert, the working PC version that is ;)

Well, this is upto you really
SC is more a realistic type of shooter, were you spy around without making a big scene.

Where as contracts, is more of a run-and-gun type of game. Were you try to kill as many as you can, as fast as you can. And stealth doesn't matter in this game, whereas in SC, its your main weapon

What 15 hoursto complete the ten levels! I still havent done it, and Iv owned it since day of release, but I must admit that I havent really been on it for a long time.

By the way, how did you manage to cruis through 10 levels in 15 hours? each level takes about 3 hours to do! specially the last ones were confusion overtakes you brain!!

Oh, SC:PT, definitely. I complained at first about not being rewarded even if you cack-handedly shoot everyone (unlike Hitman where you get assassin ratings), but the reality is that it wouldn't matter. doesn't stop setting yourself your own little challenges though. Took me about 15 hours total of playing time on hard setting. Never played the first one, so experienced players could probably have done it quicker.

The last bit is sweet, but yes the ending is poor.
