Right, it's decided. I'm getting an Xbox. I'm getting Live (a starter pack I've been informed). I'm getting Rainbow 6. I'm getting Broadband. Though not in that order I'd imagine.

Anyway, yes. Talking with Tributé on MSN about it all, I'm getting that sort of feeling I had a few years back for the first time. It's weird - I've never really considered myself to be a gamer as such, despite frequently kicking ass on my PC.

But now that odd feeling is returning. It's not like I would like or want one, it's as if I need one. It's strange how this sort of desire has been reawakened so suddenly.

So really, any links to super cheap stuff would be excellent. I'm contemplating eBay, despite my wearyness over dodgyness. But still.

My main problem is money. Isn't it everyone's? I've currently got about 40 quid floating about after spending a decent amount recently. Hence being desperate and considering eBay. Gah, I really need to sell stuff.

Well, hopefully I'll be having my Scottish accent mocked soon enough. I can only hope, which is odd. But meh.

Why oh why oh why mus**t you compare Xbox to PC? Don't you people realise they are completely different platforms with different markets? Sure the games look better on PC but remember - we don't give a sh*t! If I wanted to play games on my PC, I'd buy PC games. Personally - and I think many would agree - I prefer Xbox gaming to PC gaming by far. It's all down to the convenience of it all. No keyboard and mouse, jus**t a simple controller that works very well. No upgrading jus**t to be able to run the lates**t games. No ins**talling. No BSODs (OK, maybe I'm digressing from the point here).

To put it simply, I'd rather play on Xbox Live, where games can be played ins**tantly, where you can chat to your friends as easily as picking up the phone, where everyone's on a level playing field performance-wise, where there are 90% less geeks, nerds and asses (yey) flooding your games and ruining your games.

My PC is of decent spec and can run Far Cry - in fact, that's the only game I've actually played through in a long time - I jus**t can't be bothered with PC gaming.

why oh why oh why buy an x box if you already own a pc? don`t you people realise an x box is nothing more than a P3 700ghz pc with 128 ram and a bog standard G Force 3 graphics card in it.sure the games look good on a tv but remember they only run at a screen resolution of 640x480 and in 16 bit colour, now considering games such as halo and star wars knights suffer major slow down even at these settings on the xbox shows just how under powered the system is. pc has 99% of xbox games online play is free too. my advice to you.......wait a couple of months and invest £300 in the new ati Radeon X800 graphics card and a little more ram and you`ll have a system that will kick even x box 2 ass. have you seen doom 3 on xbox its almost laughable how bad the game looks along side pc version. i have a P4 3ghz with 1GIG of ram and ati radeon 9800xt card i sold my xbox as all its games available on pc and with the graphics card i have i can run games such as farcry on full settings and let me tell you its a better game than halo and wooooooooooooow does it look good.

If I had Harvest Moon, I'd probably still be on RS3.

How this game isn't part of my 'elite', I do not know.

But keep on farming, stridman - maybe you could come on live for a game tonight with all the gang, yes?
