Age of Mythology is the best strategy game, no question. Titans makes it rule.

No. I'd say this 'better system' ruins it. Ghostbuster > AoE II TC > all.

Can't comment on that since I've never played Total war...

I prefer AOM to AOE2, but only because it's newer and uses a better system. Though AOE 3 will beat AOM hands down.

Agreed. AoE II is way better than AoM, no chance.

Only a fool would say AoM is better than Aoe II, because it's just not true.

I think some would argue Age of Empires is a better game and more dissevered of the "Best Strategy Game Ever" accolade.

I haven't played either so for me the best strategy game around is Medieval: Total War. I'm currently playing it again with the Viking Invasion expansion, sending my un-defeatable Viking Army across England wiping out anyone who gets in my way.

Soon I'll restart the main game and try my hand and conquering the whole of Europe. That'll take a while but it should be enough time to quench my strategic thirst until Rome: Total War.
