Imagine if only Mobile Telephones were invented and Playstations were not Or Imagine If Playstations were invented and not Mobile Telephones. My point is Mobiles have revolutionised are life's and so have Playsations so
Here are 3 reasons for and against each product

For: Mobile Telephones
Communicate Anywhere, Anytime, With anyone.
Stylish Fashion Accessory
Mobile Internet Accessory

Against: Mobile Telephones
Expenses
Annoying Tunes
Damage To Health

OR

For: Playstations
Revolution in Video Gaming
Social Activity For Adults and Children
No Playstation 1 = No Playstation 2

Against: Playstation
Expensive
Wiped out Competition
Encouraged Large Scale piracy

So if One Hadn't been Invented/designed which one should it have been?

I wouldn't say playstations have revolutionised life on this planet(or mobile phones for that matter). I don't have either and I manage to survive OK, so they are both equally unimportant(at least to me). However, as you said, playstation lead to PS2, which rocks.

Based on your findings I would have to say that Mobile phones shouldn't have been invented.

It was the "damage to health" that swung it.


Oh, and I HATE mobile phones!!!
