Now, I'll get to the topic in question in a tick, but I must say this is an actual event that transpired last week
and even though I wasn't involved in any of the events that transpired, I did read about it and I felt the need to comment on it;

Forums - Topics are discussed, flame wars ensue, people putting there point of view across, just usual behaviour for a forum right?

Well, last week, a few people from this Metal forum that I usually visit a few times a day had a get together in the nation's capital for a gig, anyway, they had a few drinks, enjoyed the gig until that is, some psycho from this Metal forum came to this gig brandishing a knife and severly injurying a guy for one reason and one reason alone - a
difference of opinion.

This maniac obviously took a difference of opinion to heart and saw fit to harm another human being because of this, there is no respect for humanity anymore or someone else's views. But, to take it to that extent is just plain pathetic.

I mean, c'mon, anyone can be tough behind a monitor, but my point is that, are these people really that sick and
twisted that they believe the Internet is the real-world?

In any case, I hope this psycho gets what's coming to him!

I apologise for the off-topic nature of this post, I guess I could've posted it in the Life forum, but I don't usually venture on over there much.
