I've just remembered that my dad recently cancelled his Credit Card - The one I registered to Xbox Live!

Will I be able to register a Debit Card?

Please say yes.

I didn't know you could do that - probably because I haven't been in the Account Settings since setting it up.

Oh well, saves me calling Customer Services :)

No no no no no no... Just go to "Account management" "Credit Card" enter the last four digits of the credit card you used and you can change which one you use. Simple, no?

This is unfair, my dad just recently paid off his Credit Card and has now got rid of it. Hes not planning to get another Credit card either so that means I wont be able to buy content.

This is stupid, why dont they accept Switch/Solo?

I hate Microsoft.

As far as I know, Solo, Switch and Visa electron are not accepted. Some people say Amex is also not accepted yet others claimed to be signed up using Amex...

I'm using Mastercard. It expires in November, which means I'm going to have to phone up Live Support to change card details over.

Yes. You could probably contact Microsoft and ask them to change the card details to another Credit card, but it has to be a Credit Card, not a Debit.

Thats unfair, people might not want a credit card though.

So does this mean I can't get premium downloads?

There must be a way I can still get Premium Downloable Content without using a Credit Card.
