right now i have a 5.1 sound system but it is not dolby digital compatable
i use the surround sound in games with eax turned on and it works fine, i get 3d positioning, explosions gunfire and other sound comes from the right directions
is there any real point in upgradeing to a dolby digital 5.1 system before doom 3 comes out next month?
