I have always wanted to take part in a competition for Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, simply because i think im pretty damn good at them.
But there are never competition heats held anywhere near my area, or when you do hear about them they are either already finished, or the closing date for entrants has passed.
This is why i think that the tournaments should be publicised more in their dedicated magazines and also why more tournaments should be held.
I also see no reason why it should not be plausible for people to make a living out of tournaments when so many people enjoy games around the world.
For me games are not a hobby, they are my life, let me live from them...
You've just got to know where to find them. From my point of view, the fewer people that know about them, the easier it is for me to win them.

Well done.

Quarter finals.
Maybe Special reseve could organize one for its members, you could send in a photo proving your high score/time. then they select so many to come to one of the stores and battle it out to find the winner.

Sports games would be an excellent choice, with just playing NBA 2k on my DC this would be brilliant with each person making up there own players and using that team bringing along there VM unit on the day of the tornament!
:)
