Is The Matrix the real world or just a hoax? This was the action movie of the millennium, as many people said. This is the Wachowski Brothers first movie hit. Not only did they both direct it, but also they came up with the amazing story behind the movie.

The Wachowski Brothers started of making stories for comic books but gradually built up their experience to direct. The movie stunned millions of people around the world when it was first released and made millions within the first week of its release.

People from all around the world bought The Matrix poster, which varied in different countries. Keanu Reeves suddenly became a massive hit all around the world. When Warner Brothers first saw the story to the Matrix, they knew it would be a big hit so raised the budget for the movie. The is Warner’s Smartest idea yet, they gained millions and lots of publicity. The movie earned well over $400 million worldwide.

The story is what earned Warner Bro’s millions. The world is a hoax; everybody living in the real world is not what he or she thinks they are. They are computer-generated people. They are just part of a fake world covered up by the government and protected by Agent Smith. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburn) is on the search for the chosen one who lives inside The Matrix. Also working with Morpheus is Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss).

This movie has been given the best ever storying line to add a sequel to it, and I’m sure it will make millions. The DVD version of The Matrix is 100% great and I recommend this movie to be seen by everyone.

What do you think the sequal will be like?

It's a pretty good site, I usually visit it quite a lot.

I think they're images of the new baddies on the site too somewhere.

No, no website for it, but bits and pieces all over the place, plus a couple of people I know in the States.

Ok, I'll start the thread but wont reveal anything until enough people want to know.

I do know the plot to The Matrix:Reloaded but don't want to spoil it for those that don't want to know.

Let's have a vote and see if enough people do, then I'll start a new topic entitled "Matrix 2: Spoilers Ahead"

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the synopsis for the Matrix Reloaded, and I'll let you in on a few secrets.

The artificial intelligence that has captured the human race finds knows that Neo is the chosen one, and that he has the power to wipe them out. They try to deal with this by sending an agent back through time to eliminate Neo's mother, so that he will never exist. In a clever plot twist Morpheus sends someone back too, and they happen to be the one to end up as Neo's father!

This is all told in flashbacks, throughout the film, with it causing serious problems to Neo in real time. The agents try to take him out, but he does that funny thing where he moves fast, but only in slow motion.

Oh, and Edward Furlong is replacing Keanu Reeves as Neo.
