Does anyone out there know how to play american dvd's on english dvd players. i own a sony s735 dvd player of english origin and have heard there is a code to break the problem. Does anyone know of it. PLEASE HELP!!

Have a look at www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk for info on places that'll chip or upgrade the firmware of your player.
www.techtronics.com are one but some people have complained about their service. That was ages ago though. Read the forums on the first web site I gave you for other peoples recommendations.
Don't buy a cheap player. With most of them you'll notice a big drop in picture quality compared you your top class Sony one.

Who ever told you that was telling Porkies, there arn't any Remote hacks for Sony players. You need a DIY mod kit or if you fancy spending about £100 and invalidating your warranty then take to a specalist DVD hardware shop and get it chipped!
Or you could just buy a cheep multiregion or remote hacakble like my player, Mine cost £145 with Charlies Angels and I got 4 other films inc thrown in FREE!
