O-genki desu-ka?

(Are you well?)

Good.

So, when I ask you "What will be the deciding factor that will make you select which future console you're going to buy?"

What would you say?

Well, having just returned from the kitchen, I don't feel like posting a "mammoth" post, so here's just a few questions that may get you thinking. If you could answer them, (c + p 'em) and we'll see what happens.

This is primarily about the 128bit consoles, excluding Sega's as they've annoyed me.

These questions, wherever possible, may or may not be relevent to the topic discussion.

D) Something revolutionary: won't break, stylish and when opened a deep cinema bloke style voice starts up and tells you a brief description of the game

E) Plastic wallets

F) Suspended Animation

>If you selected D, please describe this case in no more than 3 lines. If selecting F, please re-read the question as this answer is not relevent<

6) A genre is something a games developer has to think about carefully - which genre will their next Fifa game fit into? Seriously, if one console had only games in one genre, what genre what you prefer?

A) Sports simulations - this includes boring fishing games

B) Racing

C) Adventure

D) Role Playing Games

D) Fishing rod

E) Dark/Light Gun

F) Cordless Phone

G) Microphone

H) Keyboard

Meka - you don't have to say YES and NO because if you feel the amounts should be balanced then you clearly don't think the manufacturer should spend more on promoting it than actually making it. However, that doesn't matter, well done for choosing the shoes. No I wouldn't buy a lubecube.

i'd by a FoxBox or an animationstation though.

C) 4 I feel that any more than 4 would look rather crowded on the front of a console.

3)

C) GameCube

Nintendo games! I like what I've seen so far.

4) Is it wise for a console manufacturer,

A) Yes

B) No

Well, yes AND no. The spending has to be carefully balanced. What's the worth of a decent machine that no one knows about? Likewise who would care for promotion of a t**d?

5) What style of game-box/case would you prefer for

Anything that won't break, and will fit nicely into any storage area I choose to assign it.

I) Vibrating Shoes. These would be great fun for drunken bowling sims.

C) GameCube-Already have a PS2, X-box will suck. Mmm Monkey juice.

C) Inflatable Monkey

There's an inflatable gorilla in Fur fighters by the way. Five lines eh? Monkeys eat bananas. They have multi-coloured butts. They are extremely amusing. On nature programs they give them weird names like Arthur. I am going to cross-breed a dragon with a monkey-Who wants one?

Sonic Team love it, maybe Nights 2 will appear.

4) Is it wise for a console manufacturer, like Sony, Microsft and Nintendo, to spend more money on promotion of the console, than actually spending on development?

C) Inflatable Monkey

>If you selected C, you may be excused and ramble in 5 lines or less why monkeys are great<

Monkeys are fantastic, not simply great, due to the fact that we were once monkeys, but they decided not to evolve into us, which means, when they do evolve, they'll be the new breed of humans sort of thing, which will be very strange. We'll all become fish again because of the rising temperatures melting the ice, and there'll be humans also, but cavemen sort of humans, evolved from monkeys, pollution won't be a problem, ice caps will form, ice ages will take place.

Circle of life?

Carbon Fibre casing, but interesting minidisc see through style, flashing lights, unbreakable and the voice start up thing. Easy storage too, and it must come with an inbuilt manual, hmmmm.

Thanks guys. I may well answer this.

FM and Dringo - had you read question 9, you would have seen it was the last question unless you chose D in question one, and thus you didn't need to answer it.

However, that isn't important. Well done for taking the time to post.
