i know there are a few msn viruses, including love bug and hello(1) but wat the hell do they do and i know wat hello(1) does cos i got it

I'll just point out the lack of linux viruses here...the MSN ones dont' bother me, as I connect with Gabber (msn clone for linux), which wont execute the files. Plenty of available 'sploits though,,

As a thought, you could locate the file and delete it through DOS..

hello does just about the same as the luv bug just dont send it through email it sends it thro ur msn and they have to accept it but u cant stop it and it dont crash ur comy so not a very affective and now before u sign it says automated error and u just press ok and its fine

Yeah, there made so you can't just delete them like that, visit Mcafee.com to get free trials. You need to get a decent Disc, so you can get rid of it. What does Hello(1) do???

dude thanks for the anti virus cd thing but like hello(1) is impossible ti wipe off my anti virus thing now cant dtetect its a virus and wen i try and delete it it just say (cannot delete this file windows is currently using this file) and that really bugs me

CD, do you know what the Love Bug is!!! It's not a MSN virus, it affects your whole computer, made by a man cauld Spider. He was arrested and the Love Bug doesn't exsit no more.
It use to hack into your address book and email everyone with the virus on it, then it shutdown and crashed your computer. It spread very wquickly and was very annoying and DANGEROUS virus, oh, and I've got the virus Choke. The best thing to do is never accept a file, only of someone you know and trust, and wait till lyou know what it is.

If you wanna get rid of the virus, just buy a anti-virus disc, and it wipes it off the PC.
