Rare have given us great games such as Perfect Dark, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Banjo-Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing and Goldeneye for our N64s. It’s therefore no surprise that Rare have big plans for Nintendo’s latest machines the GameBoyAdvance and the successor to the N64 the GameCube.

So what can we expect, well I went over to Rare's official website to find out.

The GameBoyAdvance can expect a number of top games from Rare, which include the following:

Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers - A puzzle game for your GameBoyAdvance.

Diddy Kong Pilot - Diddy Kong Racing on the small screen.

Banjo Kazooie: Gruntys Revenge - Banjo and Kazooie star in their first 2D platformer.

Sabre Wulf - The original Saber Wulf appeared on the Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad, BBC way back in 1984. This game should be a vast improvement over the original and will be out next year.

The GameCube can also expect a number of great titles, including:

Diddy Kong Racing - All the fun of the N64 with so much more, bigger more breathtaking environments teeming with wildlife for you to race around, and of course explore in the single player mode. Unfortunately well have to wait till 2001 for this one (Hopefully it will be ready for the European GameCube launch).

Kameo: Elements of Power - This looks set to be one of Rare's finest games to date. In this adventure game you take on the role of Kameo a young girl who can take control of all manner of beasts and animals in order to aid her in her quest for the six elemental children. This is shaping up to be one of the best and most original games the GameCube will have on offer.

Starfox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet - Dinosaur Planet was originally pencilled in as a N64 title. However as the game developed Nintendo made a proposition to Rare, a deal was struck and Dinosaur Planet has become the latest game in the StarFox series. The deal means that you'll now take control of Fox McCloud in an Adventure game that everyone is sure to want come November (When its released in the US). StarFox veterans will also be pleased to know that the Arwing will make an appearance in this game to as a few of the missions will require Fox to take to the skys. This will be Rare's first release for the GameCube and will therefore be a showpiece game that takes full advantage of the GameCube's increased power.

Just imagine if there is a linkup and transfer pack for the GameBoyAdvance. It will be very cool, you buy your Nintendo Official Magazine play the great GameCube demos available on the coverdisc and then download your GameBoyAdvance game demos to play on your GameBoyAdvance.

This will be very cool.

Rest assured there'll be new moves to learn - which can get confusing as the GBA doesn't have as many buttons as the N64 controller.

I think that the Banjo Kazooie games looks stunning. I mean, it will be a 2D platformer, but the graphics I've seen so far look as if it was taken from the N64 version. What can this lil' handheld not do!
(Apart from the obvious!)

I saw the direct feed movie of Diddy Kong pilot and it looks just like the N64 version!. I was surprised by the amount of detail in the game. The only problem I have is the lack of obsticals because they are in the sky where there are none. I'm sure Rare will make this game really good.

Thankfully Yes! There will be an option to turn the tilt control off and use the directional pad instead.

It will be interesting to see if the tilt control really works. And even if it isn't everyones cup of tea, the ability to turn this feature off should mean that DiddyKongPilot will be a great game no matter which way you play it.

This tilt mechanism could e very embarrasing when u are playing in public though! u will look a bit stupid tilting your GBa from side to side! allthough i must admit, i used to do it on the Gamegear during my younger days of gaming. Wasnt this tilt technolgy supposed to be used for a Kirby game? anyway i just hope there is a facility to turn of this tilt contrl thing.
