I just want to know, because I'm backing up all my xbox soundtracks on copied cd's. And their may come a time when I want to put them back on. So, is it safe?

Well from my experience, copied CDs just don't work on the Xbox.

You'll need to install a modchip if you want to play "copied CD's"

My x box plays copied dvd's but only certain discs, dont know which kind though, sure you will get the cd types of someone soon. So does my ps2
