I wonder what the next-generation consoles will be like after PS2, GameCube and XBox. . .

I reckon they will have online gaming like the ones we have now, but without the use of the phone line. Any extra poligons or colours aren't likely to be noticed, because tints of different colours will be so alike. They will probably be able to put loads of poligons together to make head-shaped heads, instead of the squar-ish ones you get in Perfect Dark on the N64, or round wheels on a car instead of those wierd pointy, almost octagonal ones like in F1 World GP on the N64.

All of the games and stuff similar are quite predictable. The developers will basicly just copy the popular games on existing consoles, like Half-Life, Pokémon or Crazy Taxi, which is why I don't particularly expect anything new.

All of Nintendo's consoles have been reading cartridges all this time, so hopefully they will start using discs like everyone else. It looks like they might go back to cartridges because they are finding it hard to program onto discs. We'll have to wait and see.

You obviously don't know anything about the PS2 or GameCube.

Square-ish heads? SSX, TimeSplitters

Nintendo using disks? Yes, I can reall see the cartridge slot on the GC. I bet that disk drive on the top is just for effect.

Just to carry on my little 'comment' about those horrid-looking hexagonal wheels. Can you imagine what it would be like if you were driving a car with wheels like that? The ride would be as bumpy as. . .um. . .actually, forget it.

But in case you haven't noticed, in several games where it's easy to see every single detail in the game, you can see that the characters never move their hands in a cut-scene. It's easy to notice in the argument in the G5 Building in Perfect Dark, the characters always have their fist clenched.

Something else along the same line is the fact that, in nearly every game on the N64 or PSone, characters or animals or things similar always have the same expression on their face through the whole game.

I'm hoping that shoot-'em up's will have more random missions. I mean, once you've found out what to do, you never want to go back to your favourite games because there's no competition. There should be a certain number of missions for each level in a game, that the console randomly selects. That way, you always get a new mission even if you play on a level which you done so many times.

Yeah it's true. It can be said of all consoles, the head wheels, all body parts(without going into grahical detail) or often abit mis-shaped. The Future of Gaming will improve this.

All you need to do is switch on your SNES or Mega Drive- then switch on your PS2, N64 or Dreamcast and you will notice how much the detail has changed. This shows that in the future- all the grahics and detail will improve. N64 grahics will improve, plus they will have proper video cut scenecs and poper commentary in sports games. This will be bEcause of small discs, that can contain vast amounts of information. I seem to remeber them being 8mm in diameter, or was it circumference or width? well you tell me!

All consoles will have improved grahics- the two big companies- Nintendo and Sony, will keep forcing each other along, to improve there consoles. We have to appreciate- no matter what side we are on- each producer, because Nintendo without Sony or Somny without Nintendo, would mean we would still be looking at the SNES- or somethin a little better. Its all about competition!

I feel i made no sense in that, but to hungary to look back and read!
