Why are they doing a second GBA when the DS is being released next year?
There must be something really different about the GBA 2 though, they wouldn't just waste their time on something that the DS already has.
And dont forget, they still have to work on a Cube 2 so I think they should scrap the GBA 2 and spend more time on the second Cube.

This was made clear in the DS announcement. Ds = third Pillar. GBA2 will be a separate machine
Yeah, just because they're both handheld doesn't mean that they're from the same family.
Isn't the gba ds have two screens or something?
Just because they are working on a GBA 2 does not mean it'll be out in the next few years...

And Nintendo have always said that the DS isn't to replace the Game Boy series, but to run along side it.
Therefore it is logical that they would create a follow up to the Game Boy Advance SP, probably taking the most popular feature(s) of the DS into account.
