From Chart Track (just so you know not to pick this for GAD ;)
So Sonic made it there, but Mario selling about 20,000 copies has definitely made it the highest seller.
Good day to you all.
hm.
Charttrack are great if you fancy charts made from sales in shops that aren't even specialising in games (i.e. WHSMITHS and Woolworths)
Most independant retailers have given up on these charts because the system is so annoying and you have to link it up to your till system. That leaves shops that only sell certain formats and this mucks the chart up no end, especially since about 80% of the WH Smiths branches decided to stock only PS2 and GB games about a year ago.
It's as bad as the Gallop singles charts, full of wrongety wrongness.
Im waiting for Mario World to hit the GBA if it ever does - that would be the best thing ever!!
