I had an idea of making a farming game sometime back, where you grow up with a kid (Pokemon/Gary) but on a farm, your father leaves to another country on business and your in control of the farm, your 'friends' dad also does this.
Your father's farm grows organic vegetables and fruit but your evil friends grows GM food, the fight between you is to sell more food than the other before your dad gets back from business....etc.
until then you have to enter your favourite cow into competition's not to mention the annual pumpkin growing competition that your dad was so reluctent to leave.
You win magic beans...etc, etc.
The game is all in real time, so if you sew some seeds it might take up to a week of your life for them to grow, you have to water them occasionaly until you can afford water sprinklers.
Buy scarecrows and a shotgun, + a tractor to plow the fields and harvesters....the list is endless.
I've started designing the characters and basically it's a complete rip-off Pokemon since they're so easy to copy.
