Hey Special Reserve say they aim to deliver pre-ordered games on day of release. Does anyone know if Play.com deliver on release day?

Every time I've ordered from them it has always been 24 hours delivery.

Meh, I'm not complaining.

Yeah, play take ages to deliver.

Good savings though.

fair enough. But you sort of get the impression that it will be through your letter box in 24 hours. Oh well, its still faster than amazon without having to pay 3.95 for next day delivery.

try gameplay, they normally said it a day or before the release.

SR Debit your card/account when you order, not when they ship.

SR usually manage to deliver on release day but only if you order about a week in advance, everytime I have ordered the Tuesday before the release it has never got here for Friday. By comparison you can order from a well known GAMEsite right up to 3PM thursday and odds are it will be on your doormat Friday morning.

Play.com I have never had anything turn up on release date - always at least a day after, four days after at worst.

So Play.com and Special Reserve deliver pre-orders on the day of release ?

When you pre-order.
As for the other question, I do not know.

ONe more quick question about buying from SR. Do thye Debit your account when you pre-order or when they ship the game to you?
