New to the GBASP and want to know if i can play games on my British GBA SP that I buy from America or are there regions etc. the same as DVD's?

I'm actually surprised by Import Madness - I heard bad things about them, yet I ordered Animal Crossing on Friday and it got delivered today!
It's not just the TV frequencies, it's also the difference in Mains power, we use 240v, and american and the rest use a safer amount, which means that they aren't compatable elsewhere.
If you buy GBA games from America there is no problem, but there is an advantage by getting it from america, you don't get the options for the different languages in the game or in the manual, so it saves on space.
I've imported a game for the GBA before from america, and it works very very good. If you want to import them even after you come back from Amerca if that's what you are doing then look at www.importmadness.co.uk for games from all consoles.

Any GBA game will play on any GBA. The problem arises when TV's are concerned- American and Japan have different TV frquencies, so Gamecube/PS2/Xbox/DVDs/Videos etc won't work in different regions.
