I'm considering buying one of these but I dont know which. The joytech one looks quite good. But what other options are their? Also how reliable are they and how decent are the batteries?

I think controllers are the same, warning-wise. I have a wavebird that has lasted for ages, I think it gives you a warning but I wasn't around the last time the batteries needed changing.

Anyhoo, when a controller is disconnected, doesn't a game go into auto-pause?

has anyone seen the official ms storage thingy for xbox. Your xbox sits on top of it. Its 6 trays for games and a bottom shelf with a door for controllers and dvd remote. Looks nice 30 quid in argos.

I don't think i'd be keen or wireless pads. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse (which i really like). I use my Xbox for games and our PC for other stuff. I know when i'm on my PC that while i'm doing something if the batteries die (which it gives you a few warnings to change the batteries) i'm not gonna die, lol! But i dunno how it works with a game pad. If it does something to let you know before the batteries die then it's an alright pad. But if it don't and you have to keep thinking how many hours you've been playing for, when you get in the crap with a bunch of people who wanna put 2 in you...then you're buggered! I think i read somewhere that the batteries last for about 50 hours, but it depends what game you're playing, how you play etc.
