Haven't played Zelda:TP, but have recently started playing MP:Echoes, and that borrows the '2 worlds' system and many of its elements from Zelda:A Link to the Past (SNES)...

Yeah, it's an old idea Nintendo (and probably others) have used and re-used, but as long as it's well executed and not too shameless, who cares...
