A tagline can sell a film.

A poor one will almost certainly put you off, and a good one my entice you to see a film you may otherwise not have considered.

Some classics include "They're here..." and "They're back..."

But the best I've seen in an age is "The good, the bad, and the stinky."

Pure genius, and it belongs to "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland"

Hmmm, maybe...

Surely people watching the trailer would be doing that anyway?

I like it when films are not just titled Sequel 2 or Sequel 3 etc for example Alien became Aliens then lapsed to Alien 3 before resurrecting (please laugh I thought it was funny) itself it the 4th film. Another example is I Know What You Did Last Summer the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

My favourite, and I will make this happen, is for The Incredible Hulk movie, being made by the director of Crouching Tiger and The Ice Storm.

Tagline?

Don't make him Ang Lee

And THAT is officially the funniest joke in the world as of today, right now.
