Got an album today on a recommendation by an Irish guy called David Kitt.

Unbelievable, poetic, gentle, haunting and incredible.

Imagine a mix of Nick Drake, Thom Yorke and a (decent) David Gray.

Recorded mainly at his home, "The Big Romance" is his 2nd album. I havent heard his 1st one at all, but keep hearing the single on X-fm called "Song from Hope St".

He writes and plays all the instruments himself, mixes and programmes everything himself.

I can't describe quite how beautiful this music is.
It's quiet and gentle without being melancholic.

"People pace just like a broken beat...Seven steps take me to your door...seven steps each one a broken beat...and it's one more hour in my day and that's alright...and there's one more hour in my day and that's alright..."

I cant stop playing this song, reminds me of The Beatles in someway, but I cant put my fingers on it.
Gentle and sad (without making you feel sad).

I think this guy is going to be massive if the right people and right radio stations expose him to everyone.

Hell, if David "Ikea Soundtrack" Grey can make it, then David Kitt should walk away with the Mercury Prize next year.

Listening to "Song from Hope St" is like looking at a picture of someone you love dear that has been gone a long time, you just smile and feel a bit sad, but remember the good times you had.

The Big Romance is a perfect, gentle and amazing album.
If you like melodic, slightly sad, and just...I dont know...thoughtful music, I recommend getting this,it's £9.99 and you will not regret it.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
