Meh. I like GS.
By the sounds of their view, the game being so simple in terms of gameplay isn't neccessarily a good thing - which goes back to the 'old skool is better' crap, when quite clearly it's more simplistic and nostalgia ridden. Still, it isn't a bad score, and it undoubtedly is a superb shooter.
I'd like to play it just to get to Hell in decent grahpics!

8.5 is excellent on Gamespot. I hate Gamespot. They always seem to pick out the bad points and very few good points. IGN, you have to be careful with, as some of their reviewers praise everything for the simple fact they are games freaks and it is a game.

You can still see if it'll run on your PC though, a Demo is planned after the release of the game, not sure when though.

Don't show me a Gamespot review, they make me feel sick. I'm sure they mark games down just to look unique to everyone else, who have rated the game higher.
Still, it's not the score that bothers me, but the style of writing. I refuse to read this review after I read their review for Theif 3, find that and read the final paragraph, it makes no sense.
