Ok guys, I'm going on Holiday on Friday, and I want to buy a GBA game to help me pass the time when I get bored (e.g the plane journey). The only problem is I can't decide on which one to get. So far, the shortlist is

Pokemon Ruby/Saphire (haven't bought a Pokemon game since Gold on the GBC, but I've read reviews and it's meant to be good)

Zelda:ALTTP (Played it, thought it was ok, but I reckon it could pick up later on)

Golden Sun

Feel free to recommend any other games.

Thanks in advance.

Havent played the Pokemon Games, but I can recommend Golden Sun anyday, and you might as well get the follow on aswell. I've been meaning to pick it up for a while now. Golden Sun is a great RPG, and should keep you going for a fair while.

I'll say Pokeon Ruby/Sapphire simply becasue theres so much to do. Yes, ALTTP and Golden Sun are brilliant games, but once you complete them theres nothing to go back to. Once you beat the Elite Four in Ruby/Sapphire, you can still catch as many pokemon as you can, you can train your team up and you can evolve pokemon. Theres jus tons to do, so I recommend the Pokemon games.

PS - Get Ruby, because Grouden is better than Kyrouge.

Fire Emblem is a quality game. If you liked Advance Wars, you'll like Fire Emblem. The only problem is that the males in the game are sexually disturbed and are constantly tempting the females with raunchy chat-up lines.

Did you read the NOM review? Cause that's near-on the exact same thing they said.

Has the September issue come out then?

(the one after the Bow-wow/Chain Chomp beach ball)

If so, what free gift has it this time?

Yes, I did. And then I bought the game and the males are sexually frustrated. Wierd . . . . . . . . .

No, it's out on the 13th.

NOM do give us the crappest gifts ever, mind. Whilst other mags give away game guides and the like, NOM give us NESS keyrings and blow-up Chain Chomp beach balls. What the hell??
