Ok. So today is the 22 of June. I look in my nintendo mag to see it is the right day, of course I knew it was. So after school i trundle of to the Special Reserve shop in Egham with my money in my pocket. I go in and after two minutes I realised something was wrong. There wasn't a shelf with anything Game Boy Advance. I stop and think "I sure this is the right day?". Confused I go up to the desk and ask if there are any GBA's. They said that they had trouble with stock and didn't have any. They said if I came back on Monday or some time then I could get one. I wanted to get it today. What happened! Has any one else had problems like this and is there any where else that is selling the GBA already because I really want one now!

The problem with pre ordering is that if they still don't get it one time then you have to wait. Even if you see it on sale in another shop. That would be really irritating since you don't want to loose the £15 you gave them as a deposit.

If you want a console always pre-order. Every one would know that the GBA will be sold out with in a day so if you cant get to a shop early then always pre-order. You said in another post that you hope this doesnt happen with the GC. If you want a GC on the day then its a very good idea to pre-order as soon as SR start there pre-order system.

I pre-ordered my PS2 as soon as they started and was lucky to get one on the launch day. If you didnt pre-order then you would have got one till after christmas.
