Looks like I've got lucky and received an e-mail from Google yesterday telling me my account is activated for Wave!

I've got a few invites left so thought i'd give them away to you guys.

The first 5 users to send me a message (using the link under my avatar) will get an invite from me :D

Invite 1: sqsuica
Invite 2: Shlomi
Invite 3: Machie
Invite 4: Anti Chris
Invite 5: pb

It takes about 24 hours for you to receive your invite apparently.

Google have announced they are giving up on 'Google Wave' due to low 'user adoption'!


I wonder is Google Buzz will go the same way ;¬)

Well I think you can "ask" Google to send you one. A couple of my mates asked for them ages ago, and finally got them recently.

I'm sure Google have many different algorithms to distribute these invites, or maybe it's just random, or favouritism perhaps?

I've got some ...

Sorry Machie, I'd have sent you an invite last month if I'd known you were keen on being waved at, but I gotta back up the theory that it's a bit .... meh!! But then, I was never sold on the idea that this was the saviour of the web.

In all honesty I think Google Wave has been severely over-hyped. :(
