Theres always a topic floating around about the Console Wars...

So much so, not so long ago, there even used to be a Console Wars forum...

People are always going to be discuss which consoles are going to be the most succesful in the current... Next batch of box releases...

Wether definied by company/brand loyalty... Systems expectations... tech nical spec.. past form... whatever the reason...

I was wondering though... which of the past crops of machines were really the best...

Which machines can we look back on now and understand them as a cut above the rest in their time...

Which machines still has the most playable games?

Although no titles have been released for the system in years... Has games which are just as much, if not more fun that the current crop of consoles?

Which system do you, even today, still plug in and boot up?

Does the SNES outweigh the Megadrive?
... The Amiga the ST?
... The Speccy the C64?

Which is the ultimate Retro-Box?
