This is a double post, one about Turok and one about the stupid amount of new topics today.

The Turok post:

This is not gloating, just informing that the latest Turok game (4?) will not be coming to the GameCube but the PS2. Make what you will of that.

The new topic post:

I count 15 new topics today on chat. That's a staggering amount. I thought the FOG had been cleared up, but obviously I was wrong. I am so appalled by the amount of new topics today, I have felt compelled to combine these two.

Please, have some coffee, and POST SENSIBLY!!!

You're right. I don't understand where it says the Turok Evolution game is not going to the GameCube but the PS2. Please, clarify for me.

I didnt forget about Turok 3 - I have it and happen to think it is a really good game but its not without its flaws!!
What I meant to say was I am really looking forward to the next - next gen version of Turok!!

STOP PRESS! Just before the deadline, Acclaim has exclusivey revealed to OPS2 that their dark first-person-shooter is moving from N64 not to GameCube, but to PlayStation 2. Titled Turok Evolution, the game has been in development for over 14 months, and isn't set for release until Summer 2002. Set in the temporarily-confused Lost Land, it's your job to hunt dinosaurs before they hunt you. More next issue!

I was only informing you of what I heard. I probably won't buy it if it doesn't get more than 9/10. I played Turok 2 on my friend's N64 and I didn't like it.

Coming to Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox next year, the latestTurok is, according to Dave Dienstbier, creative director of Acclaim Studios Austin, 'an exciting blend of sophisticated technological advancement and raw, primal ferocity.'

This is what i read a daily radar What is that Gaemcube but no isn't the meant to be a PS2 only woooops!

Turok is good but Turok on the PS2 is a complete redo of the first so sony can enjoy the story!

what as in the original turok game? the first one really really poor and compared to the others is a pile of crap. i havnt even played any of the other turoks. Well, i did rent turok2 but that was one of the hardest games on the 64. maybe that can be good thing sometimes, but some of the levels or so flipin huge and u can spend hours just figuring out what u have to do.

Why would acclaim make a cliffhanger at the end of the 64 game yet never continue it?

I've read in N64 magazine it is GC bound, so i believe it, it is meant to be a year and a bit after its released, we get turok 4 yours is called turok
