OK it's may not be a nice word or even a nice subject to discuss but its a reality that exists in our society.
A lot of you may not know that after Road traffic accidents Suicide is the most common cause of death in young people.
I see disturbing images on TV every day of children in the third world or children caught up in civil wars but (and this is the part some people may find offensive) I'm not really interested. Don't get me wrong I do care and I do feel sorry for the children and their families but what can we do? How and why should we help are help other country's when we don't even help our own young people.
From first hand experience I know some of the problems that could lead to a young person attempting or even worse succeeding in suicide. The problems could be anything from bullying at school too family breakdown or even physical and sexual abuse. But as a nation we don't seem to want to know, we would rather concentrate on the consequences of young peoples suffering and by that I mean we concentrate on the drinking or drug taking, the teenage pregnancies and the worst scenario recommitting the abuse they suffered.
Children's charities have tried to highlight some of these problems including Banardoes, but even with these shocking tactics I still believe that as a nation we are still blind to the suffering of our own BRITISH young people.

Firstly suicide is obviously a BAD thing
Secondly If I had been pesonaly affected by suicide I wouldn't be writing this post.
Thirdly I have not read the so called "Bullying" forum or any topics related to bullying.
Fourthly I have openly admitted in another forum that I will never win Filmday or Gameday, The reason I have read my own reviws/posts
Finaly my feelings are expressed in the topic, ones of anger and dispay at how we struggle to tackle problems in our own country but always offer help to other countries.
I could have said a lot more in the topic but I feel I went far enough for such a fourm and I tried not to offend anybody too much.

It is illegal to attempt it, but if you succeed, then its not illegal.

Well said Mewtwo. I agree, suicide is a huge issue. I must have taken alot to talk about someting you feel strongly about. You kinda put it in the wrong place though. FOG Chat would be better. More people may realise there!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
